Wow! It is time for the big reveal of the Bathroom Makeover!
Thank you, Linda Weinstein, and your fantastic team for this Spring 2021 Edition! As always, it was full of creativity and inspiration with all the featured designers and guest attendees. It is always a pleasure to participate in this event where we all inspire each other to go above and beyond our design ideas.
"First time on my blog? Welcome and thanks for coming by! My name is Samia Verbist, I am a French Interior Designer based in Huntington Beach, California. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Interior Architecture in Paris, France, and created my own interior design company in California 5 years ago. I love creating interesting designs for my clients and coming up with interiors that go above and beyond what they would have thought of. I love wallpaper, gold, and turquoise color! My favorite place on earth is Palm Springs! "
Before Pictures
But first, let's refresh our minds and take a look at how the bathroom was eight weeks ago!
Remember my client Toni asked me to refresh her guest bathroom. She wanted to have an elegant and classy space. As you can see, it was really outdated and needed a fresh look!
My client hated the fabric cornice above the tub and also the white and gray tile on the floor which really didn't match the hardwood floor in the rest of the house.
Selection of Material
I suggested a selection of materials and 3D rendering helped her to make the final decision:
3D Renderings
What I love about 3D renderings is that they provide a realistic view of the future space before you start renovating. When we design a space, designers can easily imagine what the room will look like after renovation, but most people can't. This is the reason why I always suggest that my clients add rendering to the design service. It is a major decision aid.
So, here are the 3d Renderings:
Work in Progress:
As soon as we've got my client's approval, my contractor, Armando was able to start with demolition and then renovation work:
These last 7 weeks have been intense and we were lucky to receive all the material on time. A lot of work was done and the result is just stunning!
Final Reveal:
Are you ready for the big reveal???
Et voilà!
This is a major transformation, isn't it?
Before and After:
And because it is so easy to forget how it was before, let's do some before and after:
Customer Feedback:
My client Toni is delighted and here is what she said about it:
"Samia is such a wonderful designer with impeccable good taste. She listened to my desire for a neutral, minimal, modern bath renovation. She was extremely diligent in staying in my budget offering several ways to save on materials. I highly recommend Samia for your renovations and will call her again when I need help with another luxury interior design project."
